Civil War Battles - Shiloh app for iPhone and iPad

This is the first paid release in the new touch Civil War Battles series. This release includes 15 Civil War scenarios from Grants early offensive campaigns in the west culminating in the Battle of Shiloh. Battles include Belmont, Mill Springs, Fort Henry, and Fort Donelson as well as 8 scenarios addressing both the first and second day of fighting at Shiloh. For the first 7 scenarios, you play the role of US General Grant while for the Shiloh scenarios you play the role of the Confederates out to regain the initiative.

Civil War Battles is a detailed turn-based simulation of combat from the American Civil War. Unit types include infantry, cavalry, artillery, gunboats, and supply wagons as well as leaders which can significantly determine the outcome of a battle just based on their own personal leadership and command abilities. Scenarios in each release generally cover a combination of both historical and “what-if” scenarios allowing you to make decisions as commander of the forces involved that could dramatically affect the outcome.
